I used to think Panera Bread was a place where you could always get a high-quality meal, even if it was a bit pricey. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that way anymore. After several disappointing visits, I’ve decided it’s not worth it. The quality has clearly gone downhill —from the low protein portions to the wilted, stae-looking salads that make it seem like no one really cares about the food being served. I’ve always liked Panera. But today they decided they would put a rotten avocado on my salad.
Since the manager, Andy, was transferred to Prosper, things just aren't as great. Ive been in 5 times since the new manager came on board and no one greets us as we enter like used to (It was so nice to be recognizedand called by name), the kitchen and counter staff play too much and talk very loudly to each other with their joking and discussions. I have always enjoyed this particular shop, my wife and I used the frequent it often...the clerk was extremely helpful, courteous, the shop was clean and well appointed...the food was, as usual, really good
