We went in at 8:00 pm to stretch our legs and get the children a little treat for their patients through three hours of the five and a half hour road trip. We ordered to go but intended to eat most of the items there. Upon being informed that the order was ready we picked it up at the window that they had placed it. I had a latte and bagel. Both were appropriately warm when served. I found several tables for my friends who were meeting me there. The window for pick up flowed without noise. Fine place to stop by or linger!!
Ordered a strawberry basil refresher at Panera. The guy behind the counter grabs cilantro — and the tall, goofy girl next to him (looking like Olive Oyl from Popeye) bursts out laughing like it’s the comedy event of the year. Then she picks up the drink like she’s about to fix it… and doesn’t. Just hands it back, still full of cilantro, still grinning, like she did something. No apology. No care.
