Review written 02/16/2026. This is the Panera on the 2nd floor of northwestern hospital in Downtown Chicago. This is a very busy location with tons of people lining up daily for orders. The fountain drink area seems dirty and run down, I think it’s been the same fountains there for the past 5 years and does not seem clean. So I recommend cleaning the fountain drink area. Dont know why people here on Yelp are so mean because this Panera is clean and it’s convenient and the food is healthy and good and you have choices … this is not a Michelin star place so don’t expect to be treated like royalty here. Be kind w your reviews. Lajuan was a very nice staff person and he was very knowledgeable and helpful.
