Went to the Belleville location with a friend for a coffee. No one at the front. Was a bro mopping and he told me to ring the bell. Was an old- school bell and I felt like I was in some black and white film Green the 50s. Girl comes to the front and I order my coffee. I paid for my coffee, poured it from the self serve area, and went to take a sip. My black coffee was tepid, at best. I used the catering service for the second time and it was amazing! In fact I did 2 orders at once. One for bagels and cream cheese with mini scones. The other was for sandwiches. I bought the entire sandwich package which included 5 wonderful sandwiches cut in half, pickles, potato chips for 5, a Caesar salad and a baguette. It looked amazing and I know that the recipients of these thank you lunches were very pleased. Great service and a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the soups were perfect on a day like this — warm, fresh, and comforting. Everything was clean and well-run, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A really nice place to stop in. Merry Christmas!
Went for supper, ordered as usual, with the addition of a bag of day old scones reduced price on a table directly in front of entrance door. We love them, especially at half price. Cashier gal was extremely slow, needed lots of assistance. Had to take our order twice. She was pleasant, her supervisor? was not. Very curt and snippy with the new gal and us.
