I'm a big fan of Panera Bread. Having lived in Colorado for 26 years, I remember visiting their first restaurant when it opened in 1998. Most Panera locations offer healthy food, a welcoming ambiance, and excellent service. Unfortunately, the Panera on State Street in New Albany, IN, falls short—specifically in customer service. This can be a hit or miss at times. I've noticed they usually have been out of certain breads a lot lately. Going to the windows to ask for your cups now seems to be an inconvenience on them, or at least that is the vibe I have gotten the last few visits.
