I love Panera, but today I was told something I've never heard before. My wife and I came in for lunch July 8th around 2pm. We ordered a sandwich and a salad. We had a kitchen sink, which is my favorite cookie anywhere! We had some sweet tea and it tasted like moldy tea leaves. I asked an employee for another tea to be made, but was told they make all the tea for the day when they open and they wouldn't be making any more! Terrible customer service. 1st I tried their mountain dew which I had to dump out since there was hardly any syrup which was fine so then I tried their sweet tea. Tea tasted horrible like it had set out too long almost moldy taste. I asked if they had other tea behind counter. They told me it was the same batch as the one I tasted already. So I asked if a new batch could be made since I found out it was 8 hours sitting out. The manager tasted the tea and said it was fine and she would not be making any more tea!
