What a great experience once again at Panera in Alton ! I was greeted by Lisa the Manager with Her usual warmth and friendship, my order was taken By an employee with a smile, and professionalism, clearly she enjoys Her job, and is happy to be part of the team ! Dessert was offered, and I did buy a cookie 🤩 my salad was delicious, and to finally sit down today and relax was really appreciated as the restaurant is always clean, and a real part of the neighborhood ! Panera in Alton is truly worthy of 5 *****
The star I was able to leave is for the sweet cashier. Other than that, Mateo went straight to my burn book. I received my salad I've ordered many many times at other Panera and it was drenched in the spicy sauce. I have social anxiety but I just paid $20 for a soup and salad, it should be right. I very politely went up to the food counter to ask nicely if they can please remake my salad with less sauce. Mateo who was maybe two feet from me, refused to even acknowledge me.
