Somehow.. half-half deals have now shrink to a quarter- quarter deal. .Panera portion sizes are shrinking and prices are going up. I hardly had any salad dressing and half sandwich was half the size of a half sandwich. This has been a common complaint recently of Panera - shrinking portion sizes. I would rather go next door to Canva and pay for a full bowl. This happened on Friday November 21 at the Smithfield Panera restaurant. Un clean floors tables bathroom u name it
For a sandwich entree, the French dipper, I would expect 2 cups of the dip. One part of the sandwich took up the whole single cup of dip they gave me. And it wasn't like this was filled up, they put half a cupful inside of the cup. What am I supposed to do with the other sandwich?
Lunch on November 4, 2025, the woman at the register with a blonde ponytail was very pleasant, good customer service skills, actually went to every table checking on customer’s orders. Then I saw her clearing tables also. The “Grilled” Cheese I ordered was just soft bread with a piece of cheese, not grilled, toasted or buttered! Not a “Grilled” sandwich at all. The new location is not as nice or comfortable like the former Smithfield Commons one. Good Green Agave Tea and Cob Salads.
