I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. I have been full time living in a camper since June 2025. Campgrounds are nice enough, but they have so many limitations. I wanted to be able to go elsewhere, and really be able to camp on my own if desired. I have water, and waste, tanks on board, but I really didn't want to have to carry a large generator just to be able to run any kind of comfort appliances such as my fridge, AC, water heater, etc... Great place for Harvest Host, and they can set your rv up with solar panels.
Justin was very knowledgeable about our system and spent the whole day working with us on it. They replaced our old batteries with a new one. And got us up and running, we have a 2016 transit Van. They were very accommodating and took the time to explain things to us. Having said that, just remember, you do pay for their time. So if you have a husband like mine who likes to expand on everything, just be prepared. We feel the price was fair.
Stacy and Justin at PanelsUp Solar were extremely helpful and patient as I explored the idea of an off-grid system at a remote vacation house in central Alabama. I was on a road trip and none of my solar appliances were working. I took in to Polars Up Solar and in no time Justin diagnosed and fixed the problem with a smile and we were back on the road. I would strongly recommend visiting their shop and feel comfortable saying that Justin and Stacy will take good care of you at a fair price.
