Very nice place to stop by and pick up some baked goodies. Easy parking and a short walk!
We came late close to closing. My kiddo wanted a sweet pastry before heading home. The guy here was very kind and nice and gave us some bonus items when ordering since it was close to shut down time, and the goods wouldn't be fresh next day. We bought pastries, cookies, breads, and savories and everything we had was fantastic. I had previously only been to the port townsend waterfront location, so it was nice to see them expanding and they had a good selection of offerings.
The pastry was decent enough, but this business uses a tipping guilt screen right at checkout. Shame on these businesses that offload their wage responsibility to the customer.
so helpful and friendly! very glad to be there for the first time today and got the lemon ricotta pound cake, a canele, and two sourdough breads. the man working there was so nice and helpful. will try to get there during their open hours again!!
