We had a piece of mail containing a check stolen from a USPS drop-off location and fraudulently cashed in Borger, TX. After obtaining a police report and following the proper channels, we were informed that Cabot NOI would not be returning the funds and that next time we mail a check we should "be more careful." This was after Cabot NOI failed to stop the check for a signature that was clearly not from the intended recipient and was blatantly fraudulent.
