Got a letter on August 2nd saying that due to unforeseen circumstances the office will be permanently closed as of August 1st. I paid $2000 so far for my daughter’s treatment plan and she is not even half way through the treatment.
Dr. Cruz closed her practice on August 1, 2025 per a letter posted to the office door. We were not notified and only learned of this as my daughter had an appointment scheduled this morning. I would expect there are a significant number of patients who are in treatment who have been left without future care options and have not been provided with refunds.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Cruz's practice. I paid $7,200 over 18 months for braces treatment and had been a patient for two years when the practice suddenly closed. I received an email on July 30th, 2025 informing me that the office would be closing on August 1st, 2025 - giving patients just one day's notice. This abrupt closure left me stranded with braces still on my teeth and my treatment incomplete. Dr. Cruz and her staff are great! They are always so accommodating to put us in for any broken brackets (esp in my son). Wait time is minimal and the office is neat and clean. Marzena at the front is very knowledgeable.
Dr. Lisa is great! She talks with my son kindly and explains things very well to help him be comfortable with the treatment.
