Somehow PAM wound care has taken an impossible situation, I went for a knee replacement, an outpatient procedure that ended up spending a month in the hospital with blood clots, infections and the list goes on, and they not only made this horrible situation tolerable but they made it pleasant. There are no words strong enough to describe the level of care this entire staff has shown me. The wound care department, physical therapy, speech therapy and respiratory department were amazing. The cardiologist, kidney doctor, an infectious disease doctor kept me informed on what was going on however, the general doctors did not keep me informed on what they were doing and the test results. They did what they wanted not what the patient wanted. I would push the call button and would wait a long time for someone to show up. My brother having pain i press the call button. After, I waited 1 hour intill they came and when they finally did they said wait. After I waited for another hour she came back around and I asked again and was spoken to very rudely by a CNA named of Denice I believe. Very poor service.

Patients have said AMAZING things about PAM’s outpatient wound care center. Dr. Rao in particular has been mentioned as being both brilliant and kind.
