My mother, an active lady, had her hip replaced at Christus St. Michael’s hospital. They then recommended transferring her to PAM. There are some very sweet people at this facility, however, it is not a place you want to take a person who is not about to die. My mother started developing fluid in her lungs, which was noted, but the main problem was they were not getting her up (or sitting her up)and moving enough to combat this issue. My mother has been to this facility several times and The experience we encounter for the month she was in recently was horrible...She was left with her sugar bottoming out & a Nurse (which is a caregiver of hers and a friend of ours she doesn't work in this facility.) was there just to visit (not to do their job) caught it before it was too bad & she stated that they acted as if they didnt want to give her anything then to bring her sugar up, but the 2days after was horrible and on the 3rd day she was not responsive I had t... read more

They took such great care of my dad! The nurses, case managers, respiratory, therapy and all the other staff were so good to my dad. They made him smile and laugh. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing hospital type care after a hospital stay.
