I only agreed to optional skin treatments after they told me that all of the costs would be covered by my insurance policy. It turns out that the dermatologist charged my insurance provider substantially more than the allowed rate... now the dermatologist wants me to pay this overcharge amount and have sent the bill to a collection agency. Really!?!?
