I had my MRI w/wo contrast done at PPGH in Mineral Wells, Texas and was extremely pleased with it. The newer machine (2023) had a video display of nature scenes to watch. I could actually hear my chosen music above the sound of the machine. I don't think this machine was as loud as the older model. I chose clothing without metal, and could wear it, instead of gowns. Scott, the technician was very kind and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed, at all. They even had new software to use for the scan.
I was dreading my MRI because of my claustrophobia and was SO pleased to find that PPGH had a newer, larger MRI machine with TV screen and mirror where you feel you’re in the open. And Scott, the MRI guru (I’m sure he has a nicer, official title) was great at putting me at ease and explaining the process as it was happening. I won’t ever dread an MRI again! Thank you PPGH & Scott!
I like the man in radiology is vary nice he makes sure you feel comfortable,and the pic of music you get here while in the mri machine makes it more relaxing good job in that dept
MRIs with Scott is always so helpful and through. He really cares for the comets of his patients. I was the last on one of his busiest days and he was still have kind and awesome! Love the new machine also!
