I am very pleased with the Memory Care Unit at Palmilla. We have a terrible experience with another facility and were concerned when we first moved mom here because there were 3 directors of the unit in 3 or 4 months. However, Pat, the current diector has been at Palmilla over a year. She has gotten the progam running smoothly, deeply cares about the patients, and is extremely professional. Thank you Palmilla for hiring a skilled professional. D. Cook

The staff at Palmilla became like family to Mom and me over the past 14 months. I always knew she was well cared for and I didn't need to worry about her safety. Many times they brought her meals. I could call anytime and ask to talk with the med techs or caregivers. They always gave me time to ask questions and never made me feel like I was interrupting. This is a fantastic place! I’m am so very pleased living at Palmilla. Lots of fun activities. The caregivers in Assisted Living are just wonderful.

I can't say enough good things about the people at Palmilla. They have treated my Mom like she was their own mother. Easy to work with, they have the resident's best interests at heart. The memory care staff have been wonderful. Liz and the others have been a true blessing. If you're looking for a place for your loved one, know they will be treated very well at Palmilla.

My mother has been living a great life at palmilla for over 2 years, in large part due to the very caring executive director, Ann Breen. Today it is rumored that Ann has been fired. The palmilla family thinks this is a very bad idea as Ann has been instrumental in making the residents lives better as well as running a tight ship.

I wrote a long review yesterday, but neglected to mention the Director, Ann Breen. She goes the extra mile to do whatever she can to accomodate residents and their families. she is approachable, friendly, and available. she hires excellent staff that keep the place moving smoothly.

This place is gorgeous and has SO MUCH to do! Exercise daily, chair yoga, movies twice a day. They even have happy hour regularly! And the food is really good! Sign me.up when I'm allowed!
