I wasn’t aware of a $7.00 outstanding balance from a year ago. I never received a notice for the balance due. Instead of calling me to collect payment they just sent me to collections. Why would you not call your patients to try collect payment? You’d rather just send them to collections. Obviously I can pay $7.00. I could pay $70000.00 if I needed to. Ridiculous. Update: it happened again. They sent me to collections for a $4 balance that I was not aware of
I would give one star if I could. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this office and would strongly caution others. I originally came in for a routine physical, which should have been fully covered by my insurance. Instead, I was billed for standard services like bloodwork. It took SIX MONTHS of repeated calls and back-and-forth to get this addressed. Every time you call, you’re routed to a call center, which makes resolving anything even more difficult. Horrible and unprofessional. The nurse took vitals and intake info and the second she walked out started speaking poorly of me and I could hear everything she was saying. No way to treat a patient. I expressed to her I didn’t appreciate it and to know the walls aren’t thick and she doubled down and could care less. Never going back again and sadly need to find a new doctor.
Extremely disappointed with this office. They consistently charge for things that should be included in a standard visit, with little to no explanation or transparency. Trying to get answers or resolve billing issues is frustrating and met with unhelpful, dismissive staff. The administrative side is disorganized and difficult to deal with while their doctors are fine.
Very disappointed in the reception experience of this office. There are so many other doctors offices in the area, go elsewhere. Dealing with reception here isnt worth it, which is a shame cause Dr. Kelly is the best.
