We had a great canoe trip with Andy and his coworker. They were very informative and helpful. We saw snakes and an owl! It was beautiful.
We had so much fun on the guided canoe tour in Congaree National Park!! We went in early April and the scenery was beautiful, with so much greenery and almost no mosquitoes (but I did lose count of how many snakes we paddled past). The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, proactive, and passionate, making the tour worth it compared to a simple rental. We were visiting the Park for hiking, but canoeing was definitely the highlight! Would highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Congaree!!
My husband, 7 year old son, and I did a guided canoe tour with Andy. He knew endless information about the natural and historical things we saw, and was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot and had a great time, our tour had about 10 canoes and we felt like Andy and our other guide were attentive to everyone and we felt very safe. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the park!
We did the guided canoe tour and had a great time! There were about 20 people in our group with 4 guides. We got a ton of information and saw lots of amazing things along the river thanks to the guides. Thank you Andy, Tucker, Sean, and Joe for the great experience!
OUTSTANDING TOUR with ANDY - He was kind and funny - obviously loves the Congaree national park. Loves working with people - and reassured me as we saw many snakes! (all sleeping in trees and easily avoided) Andy has dozens of positive reviews and I know why. He did not actually wrestle with any alligators (he told me to tell you that he did :) ) but more importantly he made us feel safe and secure so that we could enjoy the beauty and nature!
