SO SAD! Palm Springs Tire and Automotive has been sold, Darrin retired. This crooked company that purchased it: "Stress Free Auto Care"? Is anything but stress free. You walk in the door and right off they want to plug your car in to a computer and run a diagnosis $230, does not matter what you come in for, even though you DON'T NEED IT! After a diagnosis, I needed to schedule an EGR replacement for a 2010 Prius. I called, and heard a familiar voice on the phone - Me: "Good Afternoon!, might you happen to be able to schedule an EGR replacement for a 2010 Prius? PSTAC Phone Rep: "That's not something we schedule. It would be first come, first served" Me: "No problem! I had made a long drive to stay downtown and once I had arrived, my radiator broke making my car lose all of its coolant. Luckily, the automotive center was right around the corner and managed to get my car back in service with a new radiator by the end of the day, sooner than I had anticipated. I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and speed of service and quality of work!
