I was travelling from Canada and was so fortunate to get an appointment with Lisa for a manual lymph massage. She is the BEST MLD therapist I have been to in the three years I have had lymphodema. I have secondary lymphodema presenting in my arms and chest and neck. Lisa was knowledgeable, skilled in moving lymph fluid, educated me on a few components, provided some activities to support my condition, and was very professional. The setting was comfortable. Not sure why there are photos of the whole shared office spaces, you will be sent straight back to her tiny office. Lisa was immediately projecting a 4 month healing time, and when I was optimistic for less, she encouraged me not to be. She projected fears onto me in the first session to which we finally came around and agreed that everyone is having an individual experience with lymph, and that mentality is very important in the healing journey. My wife, Virginia, experienced the onset of lymphadema following a recent surgery that concerned us greatly. Unable to find help, answers or therapy we found Lisa Ross at MLD. In the course of six weeks my wife is responding very well to the therapy Lisa is providing. We have enlisted the MLD training Lisa offers so that I can administer treatment while we travel summer months.
