Honestly, I highly recommend NOT coming for afternoon tea here if you are a vegetarian. It seems very clear to me that this establishment lumps “vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free” all into the same category - meaning that my sandwich fillers and desserts were all dairy and egg free and arguably much less pleasant as a result. I had an absolutely wonderful, beautiful experience experience at The Langham today with my Nan to celebrate her 81st birthday. The whole experience could not be faulted. The atmosphere was fantastic, service impeccable and afternoon tea just magnificent. Shahid was our server and he was phenomenal, very professional, kind, attentive and helpful. Very highly recommended!

The best high tea! Prior to this, my favorite tea was The Peninsula in Beverly Hills, followed by The Peninsula in Chicago. Palm Court at The Langham is beautiful. The wave in the marble bar is breathtaking. The flowers are beautiful. The greeting by the hostesses set the tone. They were friendly and welcoming, not pretentious.
