The patio vibe was is great! Well shaded! And my advice is to order the Banana Bread. Mallory was so friendly and accommodating and shared her favorites for the table!!!! It was made this morning! And The Coffee is the best I’ve had on the island

Very cute place with a nice menu of a variety of pastries & lunch items. Indoor & outdoor seating. Bathrooms were well kept. I stopped here with 2 others in our group to get tea/coffee on our first morning visiting St. Simon’s for the first time & was immediately seated. The restaurant had ample empty tables & no customers had to wait however when we decided only to get tea & ice water we were told that tables were reserved for people ordering food. My girlfriend and I, both 24 years old, ordered Bellinis with brunch. After checking our valid driver’s licenses twice and leaving us awkwardly waiting for 10-15 minutes, our waitress told us they couldn’t serve us. When I offered a second form of ID, I was told no, they weren’t familiar with those states.. Later, when we contacted the restaurant, we were told it was because we “looked young” and having IDs from different states was a “red flag.” In a tourist destination, that explanation doesn’t make much sense.
