I had an appointment with Dr. Dana Jacobs for an annual pap smear yesterday Jan. 20th 2026. I have no complaints regarding the demeanor or professionalism of the staff/physician during my visit, however today I received several additional charges which brought my total bill to just under $1000, which greatly exceeds the initial quote of $382 (out of pocket). Dr Cavaleris is very kind and professional. She was very warm and comforting . I am someone who feels a great deal of pain with these exams and have a lot of anxiety going to these visits. I had a small procedure done that is quite painful but she made it very bearable and talked me through it. I feel at ease coming to this office and I know I am being taken care of well. Dr. Joy Cavalaris literally saved my life. I experienced postpartum complications that could have happened to anyone. While other physicians were concerned, it was Dr. Joy who diagnosed the issue. Being right next door to the hospital, she told my husband to skip admissions—made a personal call—and I headed straight to the OR. When the surgery techs didn’t prep me quickly enough, she fought for me. Dr. Siegfried has been amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. To anyone looking for an OBGYN do not hesitate to schedule with her! I refuse to go to anyone else.
Secretary was insanely rude, didn’t doublecheck my insurance prior to canceling my appointment the day prior. When I offered to self-pay claimed that would be insurance fraud. And then, after axing a supervisor said that self-pay was fine after not attempting to find proper solutions.
