Terrible!!! The communication between office and patient is the worst!!!!!!! They lie and tell you they will get back to you and NEVER do. Especially when it's something important the people who answer the phone are even sometimes rude! Don't expect any communication after your surgery nobody cares if there's problems
I was referred to Dr. Brett Schlifka for a spinal stimulator by a well respected orthopedic surgeon. My physiatrist did the trial surgery with no problems whatsoever. However, during the surgery for placement of the permanent wire leads and stimulator battery, Dr Schlifka managed to get one of the leads stuck between the spinal cord and one of the adjacent vertebrae and embedded the lead into the spinal cord, resulting in partial paralysis and significant pain. Was set to have disc surgery on my neck with Dr. Abdolvahabi on Monday April 29. On Tuesday April 23 I Received a text telling me I have a new appointment on Friday April 26, (with Dr. Schlifka whom I have never met). It seems Dr. Abdolvahabi "went away." (Why?) no explanation given. When I went in for my appointment with Dr. Schlifka he decided I don't need an operation after all and I should try Traction.
