The Situation: My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary early and enjoyed the $37 three course meal. We had the lumpia and empanadas for appetizers, the cheese steak and rice bowl for entrees, and of course the ice cream for dessert. We had been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed it, especially the pork sando, so we recommended it to our friends and came back with them. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. Three of us ordered the same pork sando, but what came out looked like completely different portions. Our friends received sandos similar to what we’d had on our previous visit. The pork was about an inch thick. Mine was on the same size bread but with a much thinner piece of pork. Came here with few other friends because they recommended the pork katsu sando. Amongst the friend we ordered three pork sandos, one got a decent sized around 1 inch thick and 3x3 inch square. Another got 1cm thick and 2x2 inch square. And the third was 1cm thick and 1x2 inch rectangle. We asked about the different size and why one was significantly smaller than the other and was told that the pork sometime lose weight while cooking and was weighed before cooking.
