Dr Zito and staff we awesome. Was in a lot of pain from primary Dr attempting to clean ears out. Needless to say they didn’t get the wax out and scratched my inner ear and drum and the wax kept rubbing against the scrapes. Every ENT I called was a month wait. Dr Zitos staff got me in same day last appointment and Dr Zito got me cleared up and pain free and back to normal in no time at all. The doctor is good, but the appointments with him are delayed, the assistant sits you in the room and they leave you waiting for more than half an hour, she is not pleasant at all and has no compassion for people.
The doctor is good, but the appointments with him are delayed, the assistant sits you in the room and they leave you waiting for more than half an hour, she is not pleasant at all and has no compassion for people.
This is no reflection of Dr. Zito but the staff is inconsiderate. I scheduled an appointment for my mom with them 3 weeks ago to find out when I get to the office that they no longer accept her insurance. I took time off work, my mom took time off plus the half hour drive each way. They told me oh as of few days ago we no longer accept this insurance. There was no communication to me or my mom ahead of time of the change, meanwhile I received 10 notifications of the appointment reminder.
My problem is not with Dr.Zito, who is a compassionate and very competent physician but quite frankly, his office staff is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. When attempting to schedule an appointment, a message informs that no one can take the call but they will ‘“return your call at their convenience.” I’ve been waiting for 4 days for them to decide it’s convenient. And this is the second time this has happened. As much as I like Dr. Zito he needs to get his office under control.
