My mom was under Hospice care at home for about 2 1/2 months. The nurses & social worker were awesome. She looked forward to seeing them each week. She spent the last week of her life at Carolina Caring in Newton. The staff was phenomenal!!!! It takes special people to do what they do.
Let me start off by saying most of the staff are wonderful. But as far as a company goes, this place is a complete joke! The company tried every way they can to get out of paying for anything patients need. They do not cover wipes that are used to clean a patient when they have a bowel movement. I’m not sure what they expect you to use. They won’t cover the stat lock foley holders that are used to hold the foley in place. Since Angela left the home health side, this place went from top notch medical care to a joke! Since Laura arrived, they have become unprofessional, they lack knowledge, compassion, empathy, communication skills, etc. It's very obvious that Angela held that place together. Laura is the new provider and she is running this place in the ground quick, fast, and in a hurry.
