This hospital caused months of delays by repeatedly scheduling and then cancelling incorrect appointments. Their internal communication is a disaster, and I had to chase them constantly just to get basic care. Even after admitting the mistakes were theirs, they still tried to bill me for a visit with Sarah Fellows, an NP who did absolutely nothing for me. If you see any doctors at this facility, be aware that their billing practices have changed. Even if you have great insurance, it's not your insurance. It is laheys billing. If you have anything done, such as a tetanus shot, your physical turns into a chargeable appointment, and you are, then the exam room turns into a procedure room. If you see a specialist and they offer you, "Let's see how a cortisone shot works and go from there." That specialist appointment for your co-pay can now go up to over $200. Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is a Level 1 trauma center, and does liver and kidney transplants. They have primary care and specialty practices within the campus and in many surrounding buildings. The ER was enlarged about 10 years ago but is almost always on overflow status. The quality of the care depends on the individual physician.
The best clinic I ever got in my life. So knowledgeable doctors and very kind people. Even better than any emergency room services. It is easy to make an appointment and reach your doctor. Perfect
