Great experience all around. I took my mom here today for cataract surgery. The instructions to check her checked in where clear and they were prompt and ready for her. During the procedure they not only sent me text messages of her progress, but the nurse called me twice to fill me in. There was plenty of staff if we needed assistance and everyone was friendly. A very efficient operation.
Experience was good, but the billing dept billed more than double EOB. They delayed billing, then would not respond to months of calls and emails, then sent to collections and hurt my credit. Now my insurance is after them too. Total racket!
The doctors do a fantastic job but the people at the front desk need to be trained. HIPAA is totally violated here. They shout the patient's name out loud and then discuss matters with them openly and loudly. I felt bad for the couple today who came in to have surgery done and wasn't aware there was a copay. The young lady kept speaking loudly that the center is not associated to the doctors office and that they have a copay of X amount. I had a wonderful experience at Palisades Eye Surgery Center. This was my first time being treated at a Surgery Center. I am a Site Director at a Dental Surgical Center. Now I see how my patients feel getting excellent service at my facility. Every staff member at Palisades from the front desk to the clinic was professional and friendly. I am allergic to Neosporin. The nurse who was getting ready to put three different types of drops in my eyes, saw that information and knew right away that she could not use two of the drops... read more
This facility is for people who are having surgery for vision correction. A set of Pre-Op Instructions was sent before surgery. It would be nice if the smaller font print was in black rather than in gray. There were black bold typed "DO" and "DO NOT" but it was quite difficult to read the small font gray instructions that followed.
