This was probably the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Complaint #1 (AC) - My main complaints living here was that the apartment had a built in window ac unit. This ac unit does nothing (the maintenance man said that all the apartments would complain and put maintenance requests in for him to come look at them because they wouldn’t work). Honest guide to the Palisades apartments. Definitely one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. Lots of homeless in the area, bike was stolen from the complex within 2 weeks of moving in, and the laundry situation is very inconvenient with residents leaving nasty belongings in the laundry room. On the inside of the apartment, no dishwasher or washer dryer, AC doesn’t work they had to give us an additional unit, and all of the visual appeals to the apartment are lipstick on a pig that fades within the first few months lea... read more
As a vendor in the apartment industry, I see a lot of communities and this one is very clean, well-managed, and in an excellent location near downtown. If you are looking for a great place to live, I highly recommend Palisades Apartments!
Best part is the people that live here. The property itself is substandard (at best). Had my ebike stolen off the property and talked to the landlord about it, apparently nothing they can do since the place has zero cameras and absolutely no protected entry. The bike was locked to a rail in the stairwell since the provided bike rack is next to a fence that's been cut through and looks like it has been (successfully) attacked before.
