They’ve withheld my deposit for FOUR MONTHS without explanation. I call and they either don’t answer or give me other numbers to call that are disconnected. I send emails and no one responds to me for days and when they do they have no explanation, justification, or solutions. I’ve followed up nearly every other day for months and still have not gotten the deposit back even though I left the apartment pristine and sent photos and videos for proof upon vacating. This was probably the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Complaint #1 (AC) - My main complaints living here was that the apartment had a built in window ac unit. This ac unit does nothing (the maintenance man said that all the apartments would complain and put maintenance requests in for him to come look at them because they wouldn’t work). Honest guide to the Palisades apartments. Definitely one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. Lots of homeless in the area, bike was stolen from the complex within 2 weeks of moving in, and the laundry situation is very inconvenient with residents leaving nasty belongings in the laundry room.
