Our room as kind of tiny but it was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Bed mattress was nice but frame was a little wonky. It sits right next door to an amazing street center with a private pathway and tons of restaurants and shops. The Simonet restaurant is located within the hotel and was a fun place to eat, party atmosphere and all around good time.
My experience was very disappointing. The facilities themselves were not the main issue; the problem was the customer service. The woman working at the front desk was extremely rude, unprofessional, and had an attitude that made my stay get off to the worst possible start. When I asked for assistance, she responded in a very curt manner and seemed annoyed that she had to help me. I tried to get her name so I could report what happened, but she never gave it to me. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in decades. Room near the restaurant that is loud and lacks privacy sucks, but is something you can deal with. What you can’t deal with is broken AC and the only option being a mobile unit with blasting fan right next to the bed while you try to sleep. The worst part however was the AC unit had to be jammed through the window into the the restaurant area, not allowing you to close the shades.
