Decades ago, my family and I used to dine here weekly when I lived in the area. While visiting this week, I ordered a delivery to a nearby family's house to see if Palermo's on 63rd was still as great as I remembered. IT WAS STILL GREAT! The sausage and pepperoni pizza and spaghetti and Italian sausage were wonderful - their sauce was AMAZING, a fresh dinner roll, and a large slice of chocolate cake. I was in food heaven. Best pizza on the south side, Hands down.
Pizza is outstanding. I suggest take-out though, as the dine-in experience is pretty bleak. When we went it was oppressively hot in the restaurant, it smelled funky, the bathrooms were in disrepair, the sodas tasted off, and the interior hasn't had a nickel put into it since I'm guessing the early 1980s.
