I have to say this is a beautiful building and location. It is modern and has an intimate feel. Prit is very knowledgeable, patient and approachable. His ability to help us figure out the best plan for my Mom in retirement was much appreciated.
My Dad Ron has been in the Palermo Residence since Sept 2024. The staff and mgt have superbly supported him with a warm welcome, caring/ competent staff, great food, constant social activities of different sorts and a wonderful condo living space which he enjoys. My family is very grateful for the care given to him. He feels proud to have people visit him, eat with him in the wonderful dining room or the other many sitting areas beyond his condo. A big thank you to the entire team at Palermo for making my Mom’s stay at the retirement village so comfortable and welcoming. Following a brief period of adjustment Mom quickly made new friends and looked forward to the lovely meals and the various types of entertainment provided. Even though Mom didn’t always understand the rules to the game being played she was always included and really enjoyed being surrounded by her new friends. My mother-in-law Marlene spent 2 weeks post hip-surgery at Palermo Village and was extremely pleased with her time there!! Here are her comments: Everyone was very welcoming and the care was amazing. The PSW support was wonderful right from the moment she got there from the hospital. One PSW in particular, Millie, provided the best of care with her positive attitude and enthusiasm. Management (specifically the GM - Sandra DeRozario and nursing manager Kris) will know why I am giving a 1 star review. Zero would be more appropriate. If your family member is here, stay close to everything and keep it in writing should you need it in court. This is not a reflection of the lovely support staff. Strictly the management culture.
