This is our favorite Mexican food! We have gone here for years.
cheap food, but not cheap price Ok but so many mexican places nearby that are much better. Typical greasy mexican food, about as good a buying frozen & cooking at home but more expensive. I've been there a few times, in case it was a fluke, but nope, this is just how their food is!
We have been going here for years. The food is good. The Margaritas are the BEST! The service is "IFFY" depends on when you go & who you get. ALways a good spot for SPUR of THE MOMENT LARGE PARTYS. We have always been able to do big groups without reservations & not had to wait more than 10-15 minutes even on busy nights. Medium priced. Great for families!
This resturant has really good food and their service is great. In my opinion, their salsa is the best I've ever tasted, and trust me I love mexican food and I have eaten at a lot of different mexican resturants. I would recommend El Palenque @ Spring Cypress & I-45 north to anybody who wants great mexican food at reasonable prices.
Bad!! Bad, Bad Bad!! Food was horrible and service was lacking. Overall I would give this total restaurant experience a F for fail! You can find another great place to eat in a city this big!
new management??? We have been going to Palenque for years and the last couple of months things have changed for the worse! The waitstaff is different and not very friendly or very efficient with orders coming to the table not as ordered. The food has changed as well.My son get flautas almost everytime he comes with us and since the change they have been terribly greasy. This was a very good resturant.I would tell others about it.It is a little on the pricy side but very well worth it.
Not too good. I did not care too much for this resturant. The service was not that good and the food wasn't either. I didn't care too much for the atmosphere. Maybe this just wasn't my type of resturant. I will not return to this resturant. The prices are ok but I would pay a bit more for better food and service.
