On September 27th I came home to a broken water pipe in my basement, the very day they were reconnecting the mains on the Crystal Skyway project. A month and $30,000 later, I'm back living in my house with no carpet in the basement. I now have a new Furnace, Air Conditioner, Water Heater, Washer and Dryer and more repairs needing to be done. These guys are working with the City of Crystal on curbs and driveway skirts, regrading roads and doing driveways. I have gotten multiple notices that I would not be able to leave my driveway during the work they'll be doing on the road, which is great if it was more notice than 14 hours. Today I got a notice at 5 that I wouldn't be able to access my driveway for up to 13 days, again, only 14 hours of notice.
