I too wish they would stay open until from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I am glad there are people backing me up and agreeing with me on that, and I am fighting very hard to make that happen. I wrote to the district about that. It is a great place for me to lap swim, and I am honestly comfy with and without lifeguards because of my swim skill level.
We love this pool, so I was really surprised by some of the recent negative reviews because they just don't reflect our experience. It's strange to see complaints about basic safety rules like not allowing water pistols. Honestly, I don't want water pistols flying around our community pool. We have always found this facility to be clean and well-maintained. And inflatables are allowed but only after 5pm so the lifeguards are just following the schedule if they don't allow them earlier. I visited most of the local pools this summer, and I do not recommend this place because of their double standards. On July 4th, the pool was packed with inflatable toys—something that is dangerous and, as far as I know, prohibited. Yet on a regular day, we were forbidden from bringing in a ball or even a small water pistol. And it is not in pool regulations. There is nothing for children to do here, and it is boring.
