Went to pick up my vehicle and there were "last minute" additional repairs and diagnostic that needed to be done. So my bill was $130 more than what I was quoted and agreed to for service. No phone call, no heads up, just blindsided when I went to pick my vehicle up. Great way to do business...

I have been using Pakkala’s for close to 10 years. They always have great service time and extremely fair pricing. I attempted to use shops from the West side of Michigan to the East side of Michigan on travels and end up catching those shops trying to add a service in hopes that I wouldn’t catch it. Never at Pakkala’s. As long as I am in Michigan this will be my first stop for car trouble.

I will NEVER GO BACK TO PAKKALA'S . In November of 2024, I had 4 brand new tires put on and called Pakkala's for an alignment, I asked for a 4 wheel alignment , I called them back 2 days later to inform them that the steering wheel was not straight and asked if a 4 wheel alignment was done, I was tolded that they only did a 2 wheel align and it didn't matter if the steering wheel was straight or not. I ask for the owner to call me back considering he was the one the did the work. I never heard back from him. It is now June 1... read more
