5/24/2024 Unfortunately I am having to update my review. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because I like Dr. Stanhope. Since the beginning of the year the patient care, the communication between their phone/messaging service provider and the office staff has gone straight to the toilet. I’m over this place. They tell you to have your pharmacy send in a prescription refill request and then nothing, if I didn’t get on the phone and call in I would constantly be out of my medicines. My primary care physician left Pak Medical Group on 10/31. Rather than notify her patients and transfer them to new caregivers, Pak Medical Group took no action. I learned about my PCP leaving when my pharmacy couldn't renew my prescription on 11/2. I have called multiple times since 11/3 to speak to someone and only got ahold of someone today, 11/8. Pak Medical Group refuses to have another PCP look at my files to get my prescription refilled until I complete an appointment on 11/13. This is a medicine I have to take daily,... read more
This review could’ve been different but the office manager Chris Gomez stepped in and resolved an issue I was having with the prior authorization process between my insurance and my Dr’s staff. It took over 4 weeks of a back and forth battle but Chris won the war and got everything as it should be. I’m so glad because I love Dr. Stanhope and was even more frustrated that I was having to consider changing Dr’s. Hopefully my darn insurance company won’t be problematic any more. Thank you so much Chris!!
I am so shocked it was an all around wonderful experience, so much so I already referred my coworker there. They take Tricare which was the first issue I have had. They offer basically a one stop shop from woman wellness exams, labs, and neurology. I like that small intimate family home town doctor feel vs everything else. I am so lucky to have stumbled on this facility. Might I say Dr. Stanhope is easy to talk to and he takes the time to listen, thank you for that small but important piece.
