I was extremely excited once I seen that Dr. Monique was back at the Gentilly location but I quickly learned and realized that this was not the same staff from before. I asked to have an appointment with Dr. Monique and unfortunately, I was seen by someone claiming to be a nurse practitioner. The woman wasn’t pleasant and she had a very nasty/ dismissive attitude. The staff including her daughter that was at the front desk were only worrying about closing the office for 1:00pm and ordering food plates.
hurt instead of helped. over 2 years later I'm still trying to get my medical records. they hardly ever answer the phone. had to leave multiple voicemails just to get monthly prescriptions refilled. I ultimately had to find another doctor when i could not get in touch with anyone for 4 weeks and began going into withdrawals from needed medication. now they are texting me once a week informing me it's time for my "Annual Wellness Visit." I've left voicemails asking to stop texting me, but like before, no one returns my calls.... read more
This is truly a doctor and staff that makes you feel like family. If this isn't your PCP... You need to reconsider ypur choices
