Dr Kriel has been pleasant to deal with during my consultations, is empathic and understanding, though the admin staff leave a lot to be desired within the service they provide. Email/phone communication is borderline rude and unhelpful, with a lack of empathy being a common theme. I’ve heard great things about Mark from other professional associates, and the receptionist on the phone was lovely to chat with. However, be warned - if you are not in his catchment area, you won’t be able to get in (or the waiting period is extensive) and you/your GP will get a letter stating that. I also just wanted to add, that I spoke to the Practice Manager as well, and to be honest, you need to work on how you speak to people who suffer from pain. After years of suffering with degenerative disc disease Mark gave me my life back! Now 42 most days I’m pain free. Plus I decided to throw in a ruptured disc or two and he listened to me even when the hospital didn’t. Found me a surgeon who looked at everything and just days later had emergency spinal surgery to fix what was left. Mark has gone above and beyond to help me get my life back in my 40’s. Dr Mark Schutze was an excellent doctor, he was not able to help me with my issue but nonetheless provided excellent service.
Waited 8 months for appointment. 2 days before I get this text "We are unable to offer an appointment and have sent communication to your GP"
