A small group of ours came in for some Van Gogh-fun and pleasantly surprised it turned out pretty decent. I mean it turned out ok....ok? Lol :-)
I went on Sunday and had a horrible time. Which was weird because I went a different time and it was a lot of fun. This time though, our instructor struggled with the piece that they were trying to teach us. After about thirty minutes, Holls didn't seem interested in us keeping up and actually stopped talking to us and then after an hour, people came in late and she helped them and forgot about us which felt pretty rude. I did try to talk to management, I thought maybe I could get a credit for another class or get money back... read more
Spoons was great, super nice guy with a huge talent for painting. Nice atmosphere and I can understand why people would enjoy it. If you want to learn to paint or just go try it out, this is the right place in Omaha.
pros: we went to the family friendly paint class "feline friends". my 7yo son and I both did the painting. I liked how everything was set up and ready to go. my son and I loved seeing the other paintings on display! cons: class started a whopping 30 minutes late even though we were all there. most of that time the teacher was plugging themselves as a personal artist for hire- not talking about what we were there foe. some friends (or coworkers) came by and the teacher took about 10 minutes away from the class to visit with t... read more
