We planned a weekend trip to Omaha, Nebraska for Valentine’s Day and decided to try painting. Neither of us had painted since probably elementary school but we were intrigued. I found a couples date night painting class at Painting With a Twist and it was so much fun! We did a painting class here for Valentine’s Day! We’ve done a couple in the past and it’s always been a super fun experience! This one was fine, but the pacing felt a bit off. I’ve never felt quite as rushed as I did in this class. The instructor (Holly) mentioned more than once that it had been a long day and they’ve had like 100 people per session across the studio (which I get, I’m sure it’s a lot! This place is a must for a girls’ night or date night! Painting with a Twist in Omaha was relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. The instructor (Holly) made it easy, —even for people who claim they “aren’t artistic” (me ♀️) and we left smiling and slightly impressed with ourselves.. lol.. 10/10 would twist again.. can’t wait to go back!!
Christmas group therapy!!!
I had a gift certificate that they couldn’t figure out how to use so we paid out of pocket and the gift certificate expired. What a waste. They also asked for pictures of our dogs. One picture was of our dog standing. Instead of blowing the picture up to fit the canvas, they gave us the outline with our dog in the middle taking up like 30% of the canvas while our other dog outline took up like 90% of the canvas.
