David Weekley hires good people to manage their homes and projects. Their practice of putting interior studs at 24” and further is ridiculous. In Texas where we have tornados it is an area that shouldn’t be economized. I bought my home brand new, but didn’t get to see the construction process as it was a community close out. After trying to hang TV’s in the center of the room, or attach things to walls I become quite exasperated with trying to find a stud. I purchased home in December 2023. So far had 4 water leak and electrical issues. 1. In Garage from roof. Entire garage and drywall is damaged. They fixed it 2. For 2 times my secondary bedroom was flooded during rains from a roof leak causing electric issues and drywall damages 3. In the kitchen I had a water leak due to plumbing issue 4. Now the electrical circuits are malfunctioning and appliances are damaged. Very disappointed for such improper construction.
