Five if us had a lovely time her for "tea". Everything was tasty and they even have a vegetarian option. We were allowed to select two types of tea for the group, which they wonderfully kept filling. The shop is in a beautiful old house filled upstairs and downstairs with treasures - teas, tea accessories, jewelry, candles, cute tops, lots of lovely scarves....! I have been going to the Painted Tea Cup for several years, and I cannot believe that I never wrote a review for this perfectly wonderful tea room. Our family, consistently, refers to the Painted Tea Cup as the, "Best tea room ever". The food and tea selections, are delicious and beautifully presented. I first lov eto say I love drinking gra and never heard of a tea place until a close good friend suggest we come here. I live in Upper darby for years didn't even know about this spot. It is so pretty, the atmosphere is calm, and the servers were so sweet. I would highly recommend for tea lovers.
My friends and I like to try different tea rooms. Painted tea cup came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The sandwiches were delicious as were scones and everything else. The service was wonderful. Loved the boutique as well!! Even though this is an hour drive for us, we really loved it. My personal favorite tea room💖
