The Hidden Gem of Smyrna I recently had the pleasure of visiting a distillery in Smyrna, Delaware, and it truly is a hidden gem. The staff was exceptional—incredibly knowledgeable and eager to answer all of my questions, no matter how detailed. I had a fantastic time exploring their offerings, but the standout for me was their "Pot Still Whiskey with a Wine Barrel Finish." It is still amazing! Sign up for one of their cocktail classes if you get a chance. Mike is hilarious and informative at the same time and the cocktails are delicious! Painted Stave is a really good distillery located in Smyrna Delaware. They make a variety of whiskies, bourbons, gins, etc. They have a nice setup where you can come taste everything straight up, or in a variety of delicious cocktails.
