I was hesitant to provide this review - as Chantal generally did a good job with my hair (root, balayage and cut). But I think that communication is equally - if not more - important when finding a hairdresser. A good stylist should want feedback but this is NOT the case at Painted Hair. Chantal and the whole crew at Painted Hair Co. are absolutely amazing. I had an appointment scheduled to get my hair coloured and cut before my wedding and Chantal absolutely killed it. My hair turned out absolutely stunning and I’m in love with it. In addition to their clear skill, the salon is beautiful, bright, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. Everyone went above and beyond and I can easily say this was the best experience I’ve had at a salon.
630$ and with barely a result or difference on my head! I recently went there and left feeling very discouraged and disappointed with my blonde highlights. Found this gem just through online searching and I’m so glad I did! I booked with Sam. First off, the salon itself is adorable. Cozy but also chic. The atmosphere is really laid back and I felt comfortable instantly. I’m a really awkward and socially anxious person, so this is a big deal for me. Damaged Hair [Update: following this review, the owner unexpectedly reached out and apologized greatly- her concern for customers was very nice] Review: I came in wanting a gentle, natural balayage, but my experience was extremely disappointing • Midway through my appointment, the stylist ran out of bleach and used leftovers from another client’s service • The bleach and developer used was far too strong, which caused significant breakage and damage.
