I have always had a great experience with Paint Rock Kayaking. They are wonderful and the river is great. It's a fabulous float.
The float has so much shade, and the people running the place are great! I have gone multiple times and never had an issue!
Had a great trip down the river. We were the only ones on the river so it was peaceful and relaxing. We were a party of 11 in 4 canoes and one kayak. Most of the trip was shaded and comfortable for end of July. Getting in and being picked up went very smoothly.
I almost don't want to post this, if I do then my secret gem is out. Paint Rock is by far my favorite kayaking spot. Easy to book with, parking options, great spot to put in and go, reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great float, plenty of places to get out and swim, not too crowded.
