I was referred to Dr. Glaser. I was expecting quality care. This practice should be shut down. The front desk receptionist Myra was very rude. As I asked her simple questions regarding my appointment, She acted as though I was being an inconvenience to her. My appointment was scheduled for 12noon but I didn't get seen into 2:45pm. I was highly upset. If Someone schedule their appointment for a certain time than they should be seen at that time OR a couple mins pass that time. My husband and I have been going to this clinic for 15 years plus. Everyone that we interact with has been good with the exception of Billing Department Supervisor, Helen Goodman. I was unaware of a balance due of around 27 dollars from 2 appointments earlier this year. I never received any paper statement thru the mail. The doctors are professional and know what they're doing, but the phone staff and overall communication between the various departments needs work -- lots of it. I've held off neg reviewing because staff is friendly in person. A 10-year patient, I've never complained about phone treatment (the hold times are outrageous) until today: 10 minutes holding without even a "sorry, we'll get to you asap." SNEAKY PILL PUSHER DOCTORS... BEWARE! When I first started going to this clinic about 13 years ago I would have given them 5 stars. The doctors and staff were very nice. In the past few years or so this place has gone down hill tremendously. The staff is RUDE the doctors are ALWAYS late. They don't seem to care about the patient, they just want to give you pain killers or schedule procedures to make money off you and the insurance companies. I have been a patient of Dr. Goodman's for about a year. During that time I have been treated like a second class citizen by his staff in the Burr Ridge and Morton Grove Offices. Dr Goodman himself came across like an angry child at my first office visit with him. He never looked up from his desk during my entire visit, and he gave me one word answers to my questions while coming across like he was irritated that he had to take time out of his day to do his job.
