I have been seeing Dr Barsa for about a year and a half now. I have never encountered a more caring and knowledgeable pain management physician. My insurance company approved my first round of spinal injections/and they lasted for almost a year. Then my knee went out. This caused me to walk with difficulty and my back returned to extremely unbearable pain due to this. The staff in the doctor's office are incompetent and rude. When I was at my appointment a nurse switched two people's medication. This was discussed in front of me and was not considered a big deal. A few weeks after my appointment (that took over a month to get) I slipped another disc and spent the night in pain (so much pain that I vomited twice). There was a time many years ago when I do believe that Dr. Barsa actually cared about what and how his patients were feeling in regards to coping and managing their ongoing pain.Unfortunately, due to intensive, intrusive, and unnecessary govermental regulations many of his patients are being left stranded and in the middle. Today,many of his patients are sicker and require more help but he has less options and I am sure he becomes frustrated but that is no excuse to yell at your patient, however we all are human. Dr. Barsa, I just want you to know I¿m sitting here still crying over how you barked at me today. It¿s 12:09am and I can¿t think of anything else but how mean you were. I can¿t believe you yelled at me. How dare you yell at your patient! I need kindness and understanding. I have never in my life ever been yelled at like that before and you should be reprimanded for how you treated me.
