Visit No 8 and the clinic is still so great. I won't go into another long review and suggest any readers please refer to my last review as it certainly expresses how grateful I am to have been introduced to this wonderful facility and the brilliant people within who have helped me through the journey. You may ask why I have been 8 times, I was one of the originals and I learn more ways of treating my chronic pain each time. Thank you so much to all my friends at Spendelove you are lifesavers. MARK
What an amazing place, I came in here not knowing what i was getting into and I'm leaving with all the answers I was looking for. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff from the chef to the doctors and physiotherapistand everyone inbetween, everyone was right their when I needed something. If your not sure if this place is for you my advice is just make the call the information I have learnt will change my life.
Short answer - Yes, this place helped me live with chronic pain. I have been in pain prior to completing the 14 day program at the Pain Centre of Excellence for a while due to multiple injuries and have PTSD. I found the program very well put together, addressing the challenges those living with pain face and offering solutions and strategies to improve one's quality of life. Since 2017, I've had several admissions at Spendelove for the Pain Centre Of Excellence's chronic pain management program. Each admission, I've come to understand my relationship with chronic pain a little better and I have learnt new tools and techniques to more effectively manage my disability on a day to day basis. Thisreview is in addition to my earlier review. I wanted to give all the staff recognition of their excellent work as the care is second to none. I suffer IBS and the kitchen staff regularly prepared special meals that I could have which took a lot of anxiety over what I could eat away. The pain program provides excellent professionals to guide your individual pain journey. I am learning to ‘live’ again after my Phase 1 experience at Spendelove. You can too.
